Even with the years he'd spent starving in this house, he still felt…sad. Maybe that was too simple a word to describe the overwhelming grief that enveloped him as he stood holding a picture of a family that wasn't his.
This somehow felt like it was his fault. His absence in this house had caused a rift of some sort.
It felt as if there was a gap in time, a period of stasis where the memories from the decade he'd been absent sat. Memories he'd never be able to reach.

For a while, Scout has noticed that his father has gotten quite close with the Medic. Ever since Spy revealed that he learned German Sign Language to help translate for Medic, the two have been attached like two soda cans in a packet.
It’s quite obvious: they have a thing for each other.
