Summary
“You're staring,” they murmur, voice deceptively gentle. It'd be a pretty voice, Munroe supposes, in a different time, in a different place. Soft and airy like a flute or a dove's song. But it isn't anything like Eriche's voice was.
—
When Eriche is reshaped, it might just be by the hands of something more than the Resurrector. A Sun deity, a God, whatever it may be— it wants to create an Angel, pure and laid bare, so it delves deep into Eriche's ruined mind for that which would make him most beautiful and most content. And now its will has been done. For-ever and ever and ever.
(In other words: Mophead's body bears more than a few distinct differences to Eriche's. This may change something, but it will not change everything.
In other words: sexuality troubles Munroe.)Bookmarked by thejeblings

Summary
'The passion caused by the great and sublime in nature, when those causes operate most powerfully, is astonishment; and astonishment is that state of the soul, in which all its motions are suspended, with some degree of horror… A mode of terror or pain is always the cause of the sublime.'
Or, -
"If I come out," Hikaru says, "all the way, you promise you won't be scared of me?"
