Sabo had angled his eyes downward like Koala taught him (to hide your anger), but the Warlord just leaned across his desk and pinched Sabo’s chin between his forefinger and thumb, nails teasing at the edge of his scar, and dragged his gaze back up.
It’s not an insult, but the way his cheeks stretched at the corners in a grotesque parody of a smile made it clear that it was, and Sabo wanted so badly to crush the Warlord’s skull between his fingers for that. We all start somewhere. I can give you some pointers.Sabo finds himself in over his head when the Revolutionary Army sends him to make a weapons deal with a certain Warlord.
