Keith hardly moves when Shiro appears at his side, slinging an arm around his shoulder and humming conversationally. “He looks pretty good, huh? Like some kind of ice prince or something.”
“Yeah,” Keith murmurs, a split second before his brain can catch up. His cheeks burn as he wheels around and punches Shiro in the chest, who snorts out an affronted laugh.
“Ow, what?” He makes a big show of stumbling, even though he’s grinning. “You were staring!”
“Was not,” Keith grumbles, but his traitorous gaze has already started to drift back in Lance’s direction. -

Summary
“And he only blushed a little this time,” Lance teases, which only serves to make Keith blush again while rolling his eyes. He slings his arm around Keith’s shoulders and grins. “I’m so proud.”
The effect is instantaneous. Keith immediately leans into the touch and presses against his side, his elbow now resting on top of Lance’s knee, even as he grumbles something about “boyfriends” and “embarrassing.” Lance can’t be sure, because by then his brain has already stopped working. -

Hunk points his thumb over his shoulder. “Aren’t you coming with us?”
Keith opens his mouth. Closes it. Mentally, Shiro is shaking him by the shoulders and screaming at him to say yes. Why is he even hesitating? His gaze slides over to Lance, half-expecting him to be the one to start laughing and tell him it was just a joke, but even he’s watching Keith expectantly, head cocked slightly to the side. -

Adam hums quietly. "Do you think he's telling the truth?"
He spent a lot of time getting to know Keith before making the decision to bring him home. In all those months, not once did he ever give Shiro any reason to believe what all the social workers seemed to say about him—still not even once in all these months since taking him in. Anyone who put in more than minimal effort to understand him would realize that Keith’s “acting out” almost always meant he just needed a little help.
When he takes a deep breath and puts everything else aside—when he thinks about the Keith that he knows, rather than the Keith that everyone else has told him about—the answer is easy.

Summary
The Calamity is gone. The remaining leaders of Hyrule gather for a Summit to determine the future of the kingdom, starting with how to repurpose all the Sheikah Technology. Zelda is among them, and while everyone still calls her Princess, she’s not sure she wants to lay claim to an old throne. What she really wants is to move on. She wants to continue her research, to prove her worth beyond her bloodline, and to spend as much time with Link as she can…which sounds an awful lot like what she wanted a hundred years ago…
(Or, a lot of change happens in between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Let’s fill in the gaps.)

Summary
Shiro can’t count the number of times he’s picked his phone up in the past week, fruitlessly hoping for a message from Adam. He’d considered sucking it up and reaching out first, but at some point, the radio silence had begun to sting like rejection, and Shiro can recognize a sign when he sees one.
So, he’s unsure what to do, which isn’t a position he finds himself in often. Shiro can’t say he likes the feeling.

Langa stays with Reki’s family over summer break while his mom takes a trip to Canada. When it ends up raining for five days straight, they find ways to pass the time indoors; when the rain finally stops, Langa realizes he kind of misses it (though it might not be the rain he’s missing).
