“You were in a car accident,” Andrew stated and Katelyn tensed beside Aaron. Maybe he wasn’t supposed to be told that. “Not your fault, it was a stupid teenager driving home from a party. But you sustained injuries, most of all a bleed in your brain, which surgeons repaired. It wasn’t on the side of your memory center but it is possible that surgeons nicked it,”
“That’s dangerous of them,” Aaron commented. “The brain is such a delicate organ, one nick could ruin something entirely within it. I understand that these are supposed to be my friends and colleagues but in the OR is not when you get unsteady hands,” Aaron sighed and then blinked a few times. “I don’t know where that came from,”
“Probably your memory center,” Neil said casually, biting down on a fry stolen from Aaron's plate, as if he would know anything about that. Aaron rolled his eyes.
