Summary
To encapsulate their backstory, when Sakusa was 17, he and his friends played around in a haunted house for Halloween. He saw an anklet, secretly took it with him home, and wore it thinking nothing of it.
When he turned eighteen, a being appeared by the name of Atsumu, saying that Sakusa signed a deal by wearing the anklet on his eighteenth birthday ― instantly signing away any single life he had before.
Now, after three years, the both of them live different lives but share their love at night ― away from anyone that can judge Sakusa or Atsumu for being jovial.

“Who said we’re weird?” he asks, mouth compressed into a straight hard line.
“No one,” Hajime says. Tooru continues staring at him with that look in his eye that he knows will get Hajime to stop hiding whatever it is he’s trying to hide. “My aunt,” Hajime confesses in a small, unsure voice. “She said we were getting too old to act the way we do. Y’know, that people would think we’re weird or something.”
“Well,” Tooru says, smiling but not really, “we’re not weird. And you can tell your aunt to go fuck herself.”
