Summary
It was hard to imagine Majima having any boundaries at all, but those words felt different. It was real, not like the hokey bullshit facade Majima put on for the rest of the world to see, and it still hurt. Kiryu didn’t have any context for the statement, but he imagined it was something down in the meat of him: buried far from the light, like a bullet lodged in a healed-over wound.
