This is an AU story of Nick and Charlie meeting as adults. Both trapped in unhappy marriages, will they be able to resist the incomprehensible pull they feel towards each other? Will you the reader, find yourself cheering for them or judging them?
Warning- this story contains cheating from the very beginning. It's Nick and Charlie more morally dubious than you've seen before and if you're not comfortable with extra-marital affairs, please do not read.

Nick Nelson hates everyone and everything. Ever since he was outed as bisexual, he has been the centre of attention and he is well and truly fed up of it. What happens to Nick when he finally meets someone who doesn't treat him like a joke? Will Nick be able to overcome his anxiety and trust Charlie?
Or: this is another AU fic where Nick is out and Charlie is not. Set on a similar timeline to canon, except events work out in different ways. Also Nick is a bit of a dick to begin with, but be patient with him, he's been through a lot.

Summary
Nick was sat at the kitchen table. He was wearing the same jogging bottoms and hoody he’d worn for the last five days. His hair was matted at the back and he had dark, purple shadows under both eyes. He registered, without any particular interest, that he was alone in the house, something that didn’t happen very often anymore. Not that it made a difference to him if anyone else was there. Nothing would stop him doing the same thing he’d done every day for the past month. He just sat there and existed.
Or Charlie is gone and Nick and Tori are left to exist together in their grief.

Summary
Charlie Spring was tired. It was Friday evening and he was laid on the floor, staring at the ceiling, surrounded by his English Literature notes. It had been a long day of A Level revision, on top of what had been a long week and even longer month. He was just six exams away from being done with Truham Grammar forever, but even that thought was struggling to ignite a positive feeling in him.
Or Charlie is close to relapsing and is finding it difficult to reach out for help. As always, the Nelsons are there when he needs them most.
