Roach makes his dramatic return from being taken prisoner by Makarov following Shepherd's betrayal. Soap finds himself torn while trying to help his newfound battle buddy and their Lieutenant heal from the traumatic events they endured. On one hand, wants to offer nothing but love and support. On the other, he's hurting in his own way. Unbeknownst to Soap, he's fallen hard for them both, and the way they look at each other rips his heart from his chest. As their relationships develop, he uncovers the secrets of his lovers' past lives.

Despite recovering physically, he never felt worse--plagued by memories as the dressing on old wounds unraveled and new ones appeared.
Worst of all, he missed Roach. He longed to hear the safe, rhythmic beat of Roach's heart. Just to be sure.
Unfortunately, while Keegan saved the man from frostbite, only time might heal the traumatic brain injury that flipped Roach's life on its head. If only Keegan could fly back to Britain and help...

Ghost smirked and let his pants drop down half an inch, exposing the top half of his bush. "What d'you think, sergeant, you want a taste now? Or save it for later?" he asked, letting them fall just a little bit more until his cock was almost visible.
"Gonna make the poor bastard hyperventilate, Riley," Soap said, voice right in Roach's ear; Roach fought not to gasp at the sudden closeness.

“Hey, L.T. ,” Roach muttered, licking the spoon and wincing right after at the taste of metal and canned meat, if it can even be called one, on his tongue.
"Hm?", the lieutenant’s voice was tired and quiet, like Roach's own. It's nothing new. The sergeant quickly licked his dry lips, covered in small cuts.
"Ever kissed before?", Sanderson asked with a grin in his voice. He himself doesn’t know whether this was supposed to be a joke or an insult. But behind the malicious grin there was a lively interest. Ghost chuckled, placing the now empty can on the ground, next to the sole of his boots.
