Summary
As much as Gray couldn’t stand being smothered in attention, Juvia loved it. Not the attention, per se, but the surety that everyone was there. She had guildmates to rely on, even if she never took the opportunity. That was evidenced by the fact that here she was, alone in her bed, curtains drawn while her friends partied it up in the guild hall.
It reminded her of how it was when she was young. The constant loneliness, how not one person truly loved her. She bounced around orphanages who didn’t want her, when the rain was just barely a mist on the hairs of her arms and her eyes took note of the smallest of details.
What a night to reflect, moonless and alone.
!fairly subtle 100 years quest spoilers, dw tho nothing seriously pertaining to the plot it's just a little trip to visit some friends
