Lucy tapped the form with her finger “This is a DS700” she said, as if Tim didn’t know. “I am required by military protocol to assess you before signing off as fit to return to duty so I’ll ask you again, take a seat”
Tim rolled his eyes and shutting the door behind him, approached her desk and dropped into the chair in front of her desk
“OK. First off, who am I speaking with?”
“It’s on the form” he said shortly and he knew he was being rude but his arm was stinging and his patience was waning. Plus she had completely thrown him off

He lets out a small groan and she turns to see him slowly sitting up and rubbing at his eyes trying to rid them of sleep.
She turns to him and offers a small smile, spatula in hand. ‘Morning.’
JJ blinks at her a couple times, his hand comes up to run through his already tousled hair, his eyes focus onto her and Kie can’t quite figure out what makes his eyes slightly widen and his mouth fall when they do.
‘Holy shit,’ he breathes out.
Her first thought is that he sounds shocked, the next is crap, did he not remember last night? He hadn’t seemed drunk, but she can’t be sure. Maybe she’s just created an insanely awkward situation where he hasn’t seen her in two years and all of a sudden he wakes up and she’s in his kitchen making breakfast.
‘You really are pregnant,’ he continues.
