"You knew what this was when we started!" Katsuki cut Izuku off. "Don't come at me like you didn't know what we were."

"What are you doing?"
"Nothing you need to worry about, nerd." Katsuki's eyes dart over, and a mean grin splits his lips to show the canines. "Or should I call you 'sweetheart'?"
Izuku jumps up with a shriek, and his mouth would have fallen off of his face if it could have. "S-suh…" He flubs the entire word as his body goes through a meltdown as the cutesy petname echoes through his brain, and Katsuki guffaws at him.
"It's on the shirt, dumbass."
Then, Katsuki points his finger at the collar. Izuku has to squint hard to see the faint stitching, holding the hem away from his neck.
And it's true. There, in pretty purple script, is a cursive 'sweetheart' written in all lower case.
Izuku wants to drown in the mall fountain.
"Kill me."
"Nah. It's funny, sweetheart."
Izuku buries his face against his palms and screams into them.

"Katsuki." Her voice had a hard edge to it now. She wasn't crying anymore but her eyes seemed almost hard in a way that was so real and not as 'playful' as her everyday look. It was like she was thinking hard for a moment. And her heart clenched at the thought but she just had to say it. She could almost feel it.
"What did you do?" The line was accusatory but also almost soft in a way like she didn't even want to hear the answer. And just hearing it made Katsuki want to vomit. She was standing beside him hand clenched over her chest and eyes burrowing holes into his head. He still couldn't look at her.
"I-" the letter came out with a rough choking sound. Eyes squeezing out tears as he clenched his teeth. His face was absolutely dismal. It was over. It didn't matter now. He couldn't hide anything.
"I told him to- jump"

Katsuki takes offense at the insinuation that he needs to be restrained like a dog, but if Izuku is doing the restraining, then maybe he doesn't mind. Maybe he can be good for him.
