“There’s two stars,” Hinata repeats, still watching the bright star. It flickers, and he lets out a quiet, awkward laugh. “I think… we’re kind of like that."
“Wha…” The word dies on Kageyama’s tongue. He moves closer, not quite following.
“It’s a bit stupid.” Hinata’s smile wavers, eyes flicking down at him. “You don’t need to—”
“Tell me,” Kageyama says, holding his gaze steady.
Hinata swallows, and his cheeks flush red again. “You know… how two binary stars are bound together by gravity? Orbiting around each other? That’s like us… with volleyball.”
Last year of high school, and one last Spring High.
As time seeps away, Hinata and Kageyama find themselves inching closer towards the endline, where the road splits. One towards a future shining bright under the stadium lights. The other across the ocean, to beaches warmed by the sunlight.
Their paths may be different, but they’re bound by the same gravity—like two binary stars orbiting one another.

Without another word, Ty stood up and walked to the direction of the kitchen. Before he could disappear out of sight, Kit remembered something. “Oh! When you get back we can talk about grasshoppers!”
The chattering around him stopped. Everyone turned to look at him.
Ty raised an eyebrow at him in question.
Panicked at his own outburst, Kit continued. “Grasshoppers have ears on their bellies!” He was red faced now, every eye was still turned to him. “How cool is that?”

Kitty College AU
Kit has returned to Los Angeles for college after three years on the East Coast with his adoptive family. He is attending his dream school, has a girlfriend, and is happy to be back in his hometown. But everything gets turned upside down when he bumps into a certain Ty Blackthorn on campus. It seems that Kit will finally have to confront the past he has been running from, once and for all.
Ty never did learn why Kit abruptly cut off contact three years ago. So when he discovers that Kit is in need of a chemistry tutor, he jumps at the chance. This is his opportunity to reestablish their friendship and finally understand what exactly went down between them. Now if only Kit would stop it with the mixed signals...
