“I-I’m scared,” William admits, voice shaking.
Gabe cups his face in one hand, and William leans into it with a little sigh. “Let’s be honest here, Bilvy—if you were going to try and leave, you would have done it a long time ago. So why don’t you just give it up already and let me have the one thing I still want…” He leans down to murmur right into William’s ear, “Your soul.”

Summary
🌊 🌴
Ten years after the battle on the reef, Neteyam and Aonung meet again. Now as leaders on a mission to sabotage the Sky People's underwater powerplant. When the attack doesn't go as planned, they become stranded in a foreign jungle, far from their families and everyday duties. Neteyam takes the opportunity to teach Aonung the way of the forest and finally tease him back so hard, Aonung can't help but fall for his forest boy all over again.
⚡
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" Aonung scowls at him, shuffling his feet at the edge of the branch.
"Yes, very much. Look, I think you're just not good at swinging the trees. Maybe you're good at diving, but..."

Summary
Neteyam couldn't help but glance, couldn't help but bump into him, and couldn't help but try to catch his scent. He always tried to end up near him, despite how many disdainful names that the guys exchanged every time they interacted. Behind the condescending and annoyed looks, Neteyam still had his mind enveloped by the ringing thoughts about him. They were so loud that he couldn't hear anything else. In a way, he let them be this loud, hoping that by a miracle, Aonung would also hear them.
