It was the most important job Atsumu had ever taken on. Other than the Olympics, of course, not even Sakusa Kiyoomi’s sharp profile, brutal wit, and permanently mussed hair could compete with the Olympics. But dog sitting was a close second to international glory, especially when Sakusa had never afforded the privilege to anyone short of a professional or blood relative before.
“Not even Ushiwaka?” Atsumu had asked, dumbfounded, when Sakusa shared this bit of anxiety, nervously fidgeting inside Atsumu’s door with a duffel slung over his shoulder and a suitcase at his feet.
Not even Ushiwaka.
