Summary
Against Tighnari’s best wishes, Cyno embarks on a mission with Collei in the hopes of being able to cheer up the young trainee forest ranger on her sixteenth birthday. However, what initially started off as an innocent adventure soon turns into a serious tragedy that nearly leaves Collei at death’s door. And, in a fit of rage, this causes Tighnari to make the impulsive decision of permanently cutting all ties with the General Mahamatra, whom he once loved even more than himself. But when Cyno—at his lowest, most vulnerable point—winds up being on the receiving end of a god’s ancient curse while on a suspicious mission, Tighnari knows he cannot just sit by and watch his erstwhile lover succumb to the manipulation of a long-departed god, filling his once-noble heart with evil. And as Cyno’s mental and emotional state deteriorates above all memory, Tighnari wouldn’t be the only one to wonder if the General Mahamatra he formerly knew is already too far gone.
OR
The Fatui do the same thing they did to Collei but double it and give it to Cyno instead.

Summary
What would happen if someone’s vision was broken? Like the Vision’s stolen by the Vision Hunt Decree, it might go grey and be unusable. The person would lose their memory and ambition, and be a husk of who they once were.
Kaeya walked into the Dawn Winery, predicting Adelinde coming up and bowing, being all polite before telling him, “The young master is upstairs in the master bedroom.” And he would hop up the stairs, skipping a step each time, before walking down the hall. Everytime he paused in front of the door, taking a deep breath. Then he would open the door to see Diluc.
Clutching his broken pyro vision.

Summary
“How goes your sleep therapy with the Traveller?” Zhongli asks after a terse moment. Their staring contest continues in the background.
“Well,” answers Xiao.
“Just well?”
“Just well.”
“You have been unsuccessful, then?”
“That’s not what I said.”
Zhongli sighs. “No, but it’s one of the many things you’re keeping from me.”
“I’m not keeping anything from anyone,” Xiao defends – lies.
(Just like Indarias when she told him her limbs were shivering with nothing more than weariness. Just like Bonanus and Menogias when they promised the tension between them would never peak. Just like Bosacius when he swore to never leave Xiao’s side—)
He chokes on a breath, coughing harshly into the crook of his elbow.
Xiao doesn't have a good time.
