"You'll just have to be gentle with me, then," he suggested, his hands roaming over Robby's chest.
Robby's eyes darkened, looking him up and down, as if assessing not only Dennis' injuries, but also him.

“Sorry I got blood on you."
“Oh, that’s no problem, I’ve been covered in a lot worse.” Dennis trailed off as he shed the outermost layer of his scrubs, tossing the robe into the waste bin. The moment the words came out of his mouth he cringed, and he didn’t miss the way Robby stifled a laugh from across the room.
“Why don’t you tell me what else you’ve been covered in?”

"I want it," Dennis says, an enthusiastic grin plastered across his face. "I wanted it the day I met you."
Robby can't help the shocked smile he returns. His eyebrows probably shoot halfway up his forehead. "Really?"
Dennis looks him up and down, eyes catching the pendant on his chest. "Of course. I mean I never thought it'd actually happen, but uh, yeah. Yes."
Robby wants to respond, to say he's sorry he hadn't noticed, but he can't choke out a word as Dennis pulls off his own shirt and presses a hesitant hand back onto Robby's stomach, his fingers seeking out skin under the hem of his boxers.

“Why?” Whitaker squeezed shut his eyes. “Why can’t you just go?” his voice cracked.
Robby was looking at the now teary eyes in front of him. So big, so young, but tells a long story he hadn’t learned to unlock.
“I’m okay with rejection, you know,” Whitaker said, eyes darting everywhere but Robby, “I’m okay with that, I understand, but–” he choked, “But this is cruel, Dr. Robby.”
Robby shook his head, confused. “This is cruel, Dr. Robby,” the younger boy repeated, “You,” Robby felt a weak jab on his chest, “being so gentle with me only after this morning is just so mean.”

Robby got wasted, Dennis drove him home, they hooked up. Now it was the next morning, and chaos ensued.
