Elphaba of course was speechless. All she could manage was a dry, audible gulp, which only made Galinda’s grin widen.

“—and I’ve figured out that the easiest way to make you popular,” she continues amidst Elphaba’s protests, although she is secretly pleased at the attention, “is to have you date a popular person. And…who better than I!”

She didn’t know why she had done it. Maybe it was the inevitability of how close they had been standing. Maybe it had been Galinda’s honey and vanilla perfume. Maybe it had been the tantalizing way she had kept biting her lips. Maybe it really had just been to shut her up.

It's Fall Break at Shiz. Most students have left and Elphaba is anticipating a long weekend away from her loathsome roommate. Antics ensue when Galinda has not, in fact, left for the break. Stuck together in the midst of a thunderstorm and power outage, the two have to navigate the sudden and subsequent intimacy.
TL;DR -- Galinda has no idea she's a lesbian and slowly finds out through hurt/comfort dynamics. "Galinda would be okay loving Elphie if that didn't mean loving a girl, Elphie would be okay loving a girl if it wasn't Galinda"-esque vibe but fun!
