Really, they don’t need to speak at all. Sirius has no idea where his father finds his drivers, but from experience he assumes it's the same place he found his wife: the depths of Hell. The fact that this one is quite good looking, actually, doesn't mean he's not a fucking psychopath.
But then, maybe Sirius shouldn’t cast stones, all things considered.

“I was looking for Advil, Moony. Why the fuck do you have this?”
He rattles the bottle in the air, holding it up to Remus’ face so he can see exactly what he’s talking about. He’s not sure what he’d been expecting, but Remus barely even reacts.
He holds Sirius’ gaze, expression unreadable, and he says, “I’m not using again.” Point blank.
Sirius studies his face, trying to decide whether or not he believes him. Remus is hard to read, sometimes.

Father Remus Lupin usually thinks of himself as a good person; he runs a youth group, takes shifts in the confessional every Sunday, and sticks to all of his vows (yes, even the one of celibacy). But he begins to think he's being punished when Sirius Black starts showing up in his confessional booth every week, describing in painstaking detail all the very, very sinful thoughts he's been having.

Summary
Remus is a PhD student and hobbyist baker who finds himself adrift following his father’s death. On a whim, he enters the Great British Bake Off and is swept up in a flurry of curdled custard, shrunken souffle, and under-proved dough. Remus expects to be challenged and to embarrass himself on public television. What he doesn’t account for are the friendships he develops with the other contestants and the deep connection he forms with his teenage crush, Sirius Black: charming ex-boy band member and Bake Off presenter.
