Summary
Lex Luthor has a lot of problems.
A manipulative father. A company on the verge of collapse. And now, a lawyer who talks too fast, thinks too loud, and refuses to let him get away with anything — including emotional avoidance.Chris Harris is sharp, stubborn, and entirely too comfortable challenging him. She’s supposed to keep him out of trouble, not become the complication he thinks about at 2 a.m. But between contract negotiations, moral grey areas, and late-night arguments that turn into something much messier — and much softer — she stops being just another problem.
Lex doesn’t trust easily. But Chris Harris is the kind of chaos he keeps letting in.
And in his world, that’s not just inconvenient — it’s dangerous.Series

Summary
Lex Luthor's life changed the moment Chris Harris walked into it. She was supposed to be his lawyer, not the woman who upended his world. Now, he's facing his first Christmas with her family, bracing for the kind of chaos and madness he's only ever viewed from a distance.
But as the holiday unfolds, Lex realizes he wasn't prepared for the reality of a Harris family Christmas. Between coffee, ghosts, and a quiet fracture he can't simply engineer away, this turns out to be a season of more firsts than he ever asked for.
It's a perfectly imperfect Christmas—and it's exactly the one he's going to have to fight for.

Summary
This my response to the Clex the Classics Challenge (2005). The Clex the Classics Challenge website is HERE..
My movie was: I Was a Male War Bride (The premise of the movie is that an American female in the military meets and marries a British Officer--a very male Cary Grant> However, the bureaucratic red tape hasn't caught up with military regulations and he has trouble getting himself back to the U.S.)
My object/location prompt was: fine leather gloves
My text prompt was: "I am an alien spouse of female military personnel en route to the United States under public law 271 of the Congress." (Which I promptly shifted to "I am an alien spouse of American military personnel en route to the United States under public law 271 of the Congress.")Neither my object, nor my text prompt found their way into the manip, though the text prompt did significantly influence my idea for what story I wanted the piece to tell.
