The blue outside is getting darker and darker, slowly. Pressure and depth values keep rising with it, on the navigation panel.
Holding a breath through the electricity running in his body, eyes peeled on the growing obscurity Tyler waits, waits.
A slight, perhaps a trick of his mind, lilac shade.Then, one moment it's blue.
And the other a blaze of lavender, reddish, violet, glimmering dots that seem to be about to touch the glass- but disappear before crashing against it.
The hues fused together, like the sky between sunset and night, but perennial.
In constant soft movement, the liquid gloom.
Tyler can feel his eyes widen at the spectacle, his mouth open in awe.The Purple.

Summary
“You just wanna beat me up,” Josh pouted, with big puppy eyes and a jutted lip, though he’d nodded his agreement too. He wouldn’t disagree when he’d started their habit of playing, after all.
“Yes,” Tyler deadpanned, stone face fixed on Josh’s shiny lower lip for no reason at all. “I do, Josh. And if you hit me back, I’m kicking you out of the band. Mark can be my new drummer boy, won’t you, Mark?”
“Gladly,” Mark piped up from the seats behind them, more of an instigator than Tyler sometimes. They were really good at pushing Josh’s buttons together just to see his face turn cherry red from how flustered he could end up.
Or, long trips would be boring without great company.
