Summary
There was a child on the docks.
Shanks knew, of course, that a far removed village like this couldn’t be faulted for not recognizing his jolly roger, but it was still a jolly roger. There wasn’t even anyone with the boy, and that made all of Shanks’ instincts flare up.
He called a halfhearted order to his first mate, watching the child carefully as he looked at the Red Force with stars in his eyes and pearls in his hair.

“That came out nice, don’tcha think Hiragi?” Umemiya was holding something small and rectangular in his hand, waving it around rapidly before shoving it in Hiraigi’s face. He didn’t wait for an answer, “I think it’s very nice. Our Sakura is so photogenic.”
Equal parts embarrassment and shame pooled in Sakura’s chest, his face heating up on reflex. He was the opposite of photogenic, but Umemiya’s grin only widened.
“Here.” Umemiya offered him the rectangle, holding up a placating hand just as Sakura was about to shout. “It’ll help you understand how we see you.”

Summary
During a very safe and totally not inadvisable visit to Run of the Mill by himself after a certain alien invasion, Leo has an unfortunate encounter with the new mutant that's been running around. While trying to contact his brothers and portal at the same time, Leonardo accidentally infuses his phone with enough of his ninpo to establish a connection between Earth 18, Earth 12, and Earth 3.

After losing Bruce in their future, a chance seems good enough.

I focus heavily on the original 4 Robins and their relationships to each other and to Bruce, but I try to give a spotlight to all the batfamily relationships and members at one point. This is my DC magnum opus, the time travel fix-it fic to end all suffering. Time swap? no. Time displacement? Double no. They stay, ur honor, and they give a big ol' middle finger to the timeline while they're at it.

Now, being a detective, that sort of thing wasn’t usually cause for concern. Solving crime did pay his bills. But it had become harder, over the years, to turn off the part of his brain that made connections. To separate his colleges from the rampant corruption that the GCPD still faced years later. More and more he found himself picking up small things, Martinez's celebrity crush on Bruce Wayne, Hampton's 'husband' who really wasn't a husband at all... he couldn't help it. Half a decade of cops lying directly to his face made him skeptical. For the most part, he knew when to back off. Knew when one of his officers acting suspicious led to an embarrassing story and not a secret visit to the Iceberg lounge.
It’s just—it’s hard to extend that same courtesy with the Bat.

“I-I told Ace. I-I’m…”
Ace doesn't let Luffy finish, he removes the shirt entirely, hands shaking.
“I can’t believe you went and got yourself so hurt without me, do you know how much I worried about you?” The smile he gives doesn’t reach his eyes at all, but it seems to shake Luffy from whatever memory was surfacing. “Troublesome little brother, I missed you so much.”
Or
Ace loses two brothers the night of the fire. One to death, and the other to a darkness he might never be able to chase away.

Summary
It was amazing how after 6000 years humanity could still manage to find something new to show him. Although he wasn’t expecting the ‘new’ to be his lover cowering in the corner of their bedroom, no taller than his knees. Surely this was a practical joke of some sort, the child sitting there... couldn’t be his Childe, right?
“Childe? Are you alright?” Zhongli knelt down, unease settling deep in his stomach.
“W-who are you?”
...that didn’t bode well. Especially since big, teary blue eyes stared up at him. Ones that Zhongli could recognize anywhere.
Of all the new experiences the world could give him, Celestia chose this. It was as much Intriguing as it was worrisome. There was a small tug on his clothes.
