Summary
Sunny's been dealing with an annoying chronic medical condition ever since she became an adult. Every year or so, she finds herself embarrassingly feverish and sticky for a couple of weeks, and has to hide it from all of her friends. This year, the timing is particularly bad. When she wakes up tied to a strange contraption in an unfamiliar human place built from stone, she's horrified to realize that she's experiencing symptoms of that embarrassing sickness.
Luckily, there's a handsome older dragon here named Rose who claims he can cure her sickness for good, if she'll just trust him and do exactly what he says.

They were creeping alarmingly up Jotter's thighs, now, cold against his skin in comparison to the hot air. He squirmed, struggling. He was far too devoid of pants to be tolerating that kind of groping from anybody who hadn't bought him a drink yet, mind flayer or no.
"Oh, go on, this'll be good," Jotter said, trying to pry the tentacles off his legs with his hands. They were cold and slippery and weirdly strong. Gross. "What's this perfectly logical rationale?"
"I kidnapped you out of a tunnel and stripped you naked for sexual reasons," the Master said, and then had the temerity to add, "That should be fairly obvious, even to you."

He had seen the flash in Artor's eyes the first time they sparred and Grimfell lost. The shock, the uncertainty. A basic principle of his world - that Grimfell was his master - shaken. Artor was too much of a wolf at his heart to take instruction from someone who could not master him, and so Grimfell had.

The maintenance ducts on the space freighter Sabrina had stowed away on were sealed off by telescoping grates, with a spiral pattern that opened from the inside out.
She pinged the AI, and flashed her ID with a mechanic designation. Access requested, perfectly legitimate reasons, don't worry about what they are. Let me in, pal.
The AI granted access, and the grate telescoped open. She patted the outside of the maintenance duct affectionately. What a friendly and accomodating bot. This was going to be great. She slung her bag through ahead of her and crawled in after it.
Or tried, at least. She got about halfway in before the telescoping grate suddenly snapped shut, with a metallic sound and an impact that scared the shit out of her.
-"Let me go, I'm sorry, I'll leave," she begged, switching tactics immediately. With a person, she'd be ugly-crying by now, but that didn't really seem like something that was going to impress a rogue AI. "I wasn't trying to hurt anybody, I just need to get to Ganymede IV and I don't have any money, I wasn't going to cause any trouble. Don't call the cops, please."
"Don't worry," the AI said. "We won't."
