Lucy’s face contorts itself into a sneer as she shoves herself to her feet. ‘I didn’t come here to be made fun of by some… some puffed-up schoolboys who think they’re running an agency - don’t bother dragging your poncy ass out of the chair, I’ll show myself out, ta,’ she spits, and as she spins on her heels to stride out of the room, she almost collides with Jessica, who’s got her head stuck in a book.
Both girls startle at the sight of the other so close, and Jess shoots Anthony a questioning look, to which he points at their typical Interview Sources Selection (and yes, he wants that Trade-Marked), and she raises her eyebrow at him as if to say I thought the last interviewee was scheduled for two hours ago. He responds with a shrug, telling her she showed up at the door unannounced and I decided to give her a chance. Jess lets out a silent sigh - he knows her well enough to understand its presence even if she doesn’t show it - and turns to regard Lucy.
‘Hi!’ she says. ‘I’m Jessica, Anthony’s older sister. It's nice to meet you!’

You nodded, unable to find your voice as tears began to gather in your eyes.
