Regulus and Sirius are the new kids in school. James is curious and Remus couldn't care less.
I wasn't planning on sharing this fic yet (or maybe ever) but I'm bored so I'm doing this. This fic is relatively dark - it handles a lot of heavy topics. Just know I'm not writing this lightly and understand the severity of everything that is comes up. Some of it I've been through myself and some of it I would just like to represent. I'm going to put the main warnings for the fic here now, but they will also be mentioned at the beginning of every chapter. If you don't want spoilers, skip past the warnings, but take care of yourselves because these topics are very very heavy.
WARNINGS: self harm, suicide attempts (past and present), grooming, drug abuse and rehab, child abuse/neglect, unhealthy relationships, manipulation, alcohol misuse, PTSD hinted at. (I might add more here later on.)
Title meaning: 'Killer Queen' can mean a person who is of high status in society but acts out or acts provocatively.
CH1 WARNINGS: underage smoking, drug misuse, dark humour, brief mention of parent death (past), mention of someone getting groped (past) - let me know if I forgot anything

Summary
You never forget the feeling of falling. The body is hardwired to remember it.
Even falling asleep, the body remembers. It sends a jolt through the body, your spine stiffens and your head spins, your eyes snap open and your eyes focus on the blankets on your bed and you realize you haven't quite fallen asleep yet.
James’s body jerked, his eyes snapped open. But he didn’t stop falling.

Basically, James suffered a major quidditch injury in his fourth year, and after spending summer recovering and making up missed work, he insists he's good to go for his fifth year at Hogwarts. It's a big year- too much to miss.
It'd just be weird, his first year without Quidditch

Summary
James doesn't remember much more than his first name when he wakes up in the maze. In fact, it's the only thing he remembers—and meeting Regulus for the first time almost makes him forget it again, but that's neither here nor there.
Regulus has been in the maze for much longer than James, knows its dangers and enigmas well enough by now—but when he stares down at their most recent newcomer, he can't possibly predict that everything is about to change.
Neither of them knows yet why they are trapped in this deadly puzzle, or what lies beyond it; and neither can fathom how far they will have to go to get out of it alive, nor how it will cost them so much more than what they are willing to pay.
Pawns trapped in a deadly game of riddles whose only solution seems to be death, love so brutally challenged it can only turn into grief, and a world falling apart in tune with its people, who can only watch as the fresh blood on their hands dries into sorrow.

Summary
He didn't mind that he had to be there to take care of him and just sit there to be used as a pillow. He didn't mind because he knew Remus would do the same thing for him, and he couldn't just possibly be away when Remus was feeling so horrible.
Even though he had fallen asleep, Sirius kept playing with his hair, just watching over him to make sure he was alright. He seemed peaceful while he slept, although the pained look on his face didn't go away even when he was sleeping.
Or
Remus is suffering from the symptoms of the up coming full moon and Sirius takes care of him
