Buck huffed, trying to pull away, but Eddie didn’t let him.
He raised a hand, pressing it against the wall beside Buck’s head, blocking any chance of escape. His other arm slid to the side of Buck’s waist, not touching—just there, a presence.
Buck swallowed hard, his eyes flicking up to meet Eddie’s again.
"Eddie..."
"Tell me to stop," Eddie challenged, his voice low, rough. "If you really want me to stop, just say it..."
Or… Eddie comes back from Texas and ends up living with Buck, but something feels off. Buck avoids him, dodges conversations, and seems determined to keep his distance — and Eddie has no idea why. The problem? Eddie has never been a very patient man. And when he finally loses his patience, Buck finds himself quite literally against the wall.

And Eddie’s not jealous, of course not, that’s Buck’s thing. He thinks wryly of Tommy and sprained ankles, and an embarrassing fondness fills his chest. Buck’s so— Buck, wholly and completely, and Eddie misses him, is all. But that’s not why he’s doing it, honest. These people don’t appreciate Buck for who he is, not the way Eddie does.
