Summary
The first time he entered a human village beside his forest, he had understood. The village was a shabby outcropping of ragged, wooden structures and a smoldering fire—one the humans would throw him into when the starving urchin never seemed to age, had eyes too green not to be fey.
Before he ever heard their laughter, he had felt them through the hum of the grass underfoot, the embrace of the soil against the tattered soles of his furred boots. Not quite a pulse. Something more fragile, fluttery and faint, drawing him in like a line of unspooled thread.
And when the humans came to hunt the changeling in the woods, he had felt those threads leading straight to him. He felt them fade, too.

Summary
When a lifetime of shitty comments finally catches up to him on a fateful day at the beginning of summer break, Alfred is determined to fix his habits so he can feel comfortable in his body again. He doesn't consider it an 'eating disorder', but his eating habits are extremely disordered and his thoughts are no better. That doesn't concern him though, his only concern is that his efforts pay off in the end. No matter the means or the cost. He just tells himself that everything will all be worth it in the end, even if everything in his life goes to shit, one by one.
Or, one day Alfred decides he looks fat and is determined to change that. Through whatever means necessary... starting a spiral that has him plummeting.
