Summary
It's been a year since Shidou Ryuusei lost the one person who made everything make sense.
Without Sae, the passions that once defined him have become painful reminders of everything he's lost. Soccer no longer feels like home, and even the canvases that once overflowed with colour remain stubbornly blank.
Now he's forced to confront what remains of himself when the person he built his future around is no longer there.
TLDR: A year after Sae's death, Shidou is still grieving

Summary
“Best friends don’t kiss each other,” Reo said, his voice shaking slightly. “They don’t sleep together for months and then pretend none of it meant anything.”
“Our relationship was mutually casual,” Nagi replied.
Reo’s eyes widened slightly. “You still don’t get it.”
After an argument drives them apart, Reo is unexpectedly removed from Blue Lock before Nagi can make things right. Five years later, they meet again, but Reo has changed—he’s distant, untouchable, and no longer waiting for Nagi to catch up.
(I finally added a summary, yay!)

Summary
“…Are you mad at me?”
Ryuusei was silent for a moment before slowly shaking his head. “No,” he admitted quietly. “I’m hurt.”
“And it’s probably gonna take me a while to forgive you for hiding something this big from me.”
Guilt twisted painfully inside Sae’s chest. “I know,” he whispered. “I’m sorry.”
Ryuusei sighed quietly before reaching over and pulling Sae’s hand into his own. “But I’m still here,” he murmured. “And I’m still gonna take care of you through all of this.”
Sae finally reveals he's secretly had leukemia since he was sixteen. (basically what would happen if Sae lived instead of dying after Before the Morning Came)

Summary
“Sae…” she started softly. “I’m so sorry.”
Dabadie stopped moving entirely.
“But based on the test results, it’s been confirmed that you have leukemia.”
Leukemia.
The word sounded strangely distant. Like it belonged in someone else’s life instead of his.
“Oh.”
Diagnosed with leukemia at sixteen, Sae hides his worsening illness behind the cold facade expected of a rising football prodigy in Spain.
While isolation, harassment, and his illness slowly consume him, he struggles between pushing everyone away and finally allowing himself to be loved.
