So, in this fic, alcohol and cigarettes aren't enough for him anymore so he starts cutting. He manages to hide it while Shane is dating Rose, so it gets pretty bad. When Shane and Ilya reunite, Shane knows somethings up. That night, he kisses every single scar that now dots Ilya's body.
