Summary
You could hear a pin drop in that silence.
You search this 50-something-year-old lifetime union member’s face for any trace of a joke, or even a flat out lie. You don’t find anything.
She seems completely, 100% serious. You have no idea what to think.
“Beth,” one of your other peers hesitates, “What do you mean—?”
“I mean that demons are real,” she interrupts him, “ You remember Greg from the check-in desk? One of them almost got him back in ‘95. He had to fend the fucker off with nothing but his crescent wrench.”Or, I watched KPop Demon Hunters and as a real stage tech I will maintain that every single technician that has ever worked a Huntrix show knows about demons. And through gossip networks probably so does every other tech in a 20 mile radius.

Summary
Once again, their father was praised for pulling some sort of miracles when he lived in Resembool. Edward scowled to himself, of course, if their jerk of a father hadn’t left, then maybe they wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place. Maybe he would have performed whatever the “miracle” everyone speaks of for his family. Then she wouldn’t die, she would be safe and they would be happy again. Just like it was before…when their Mother's smile was never forced. If Edward could just find him…he looked over to Alphonse who met his gaze and gave him a concerned look.
“You're scheming something, aren’t you brother?”A What If where Edward becomes a chimera.
(No, not like Nina, more like the later show chimera's.)Bookmarked by violetwolfraven

Summary
After the events of War Crimes, Sokka and Zuko have escaped Zhao’s warship and are fleeing across the Earth Kingdom. As well as unfamiliar terrain, they have to navigate their shared trauma, work out where they fit into the war, and their place in each others lives.
Sokka is aware that being friends with the enemy is going to bring complications, but he probably should have guessed that being friends with Zuko in particular, was going to be a bit like dunking your head repeatedly into a bucket of angry Fire Ferrets.
Katara is also grappling with the confusion of befriending an enemy, something that doesn’t prove as difficult as she had expected with the bond of shared, furious grief bridging old wounds. (Learning a new way to look at her bending doesn't hurt either)
Azula, struggling with the Fire Lord’s mistrust, encounters a few nasty surprises and has to make some difficult decisions. Luckily, she is a great deal better at making sensible choices than her brother.
Her father may have made a slight tactical error.

Summary
[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
“Sokka?” he chokes out. And then he smiles.
What the fuck?
“Sokka, I—”
Sokka slams his head against the wall, once, twice, and the smile wipes off his face. Good.
“What,” Sokka bites out, “have you done to my sister?”]
Or:
An injury leaves Sokka with amnesia. His last memory is of the failed invasion, of leaving his father behind in enemy territory on the Day of Black Sun. Of hopelessness. Rage.
But then he wakes up, and the war is over. Suddenly, he must come to terms with the fact that years have passed, and that he's somehow the Southern Water Tribe Ambassador to the Fire Nation. He is also supposedly friends with banished-Prince-turned-Fire-Lord Zuko, of all people. Close friends.
Yeah, nah.

Summary
“We’d have to agree,” Luke jumps in. “Not about the demons part, but that you’re way better than Carrie. That girl and her attitude are rank.”
“I think her choreography is kind of cool,” Alex says. “And the outfits Dirty Candy all wear. Lots of glitter. Lots of sparkles. Two of my faves.”
“Well, thanks,” Julie replies, flustered and a little endeared. “I’m sure you guys rock.”
“We rock the hardest.” Reggie thinks for a moment, fingers steepled under his chin. “If we had a place to practice tonight, we could show you. But you’ll just have to take our word for it.”
“I thought we were—” Luke starts, but Alex cuts him off with a pointed shake of his head. “Ah, well. Sorry, Julie, I guess you don’t get to listen to Sunset Curve rock your socks off after all.”
“If you guys want, you can come over to my house. We have a studio out back that I use to write music in. You can dazzle me with some of Sunset Curve’s greatest hits.”
Or, a no ghost!AU where Julie meets the boys at school and, after inviting them to the studio one night, her house accidentally ends up becoming the Molina Home for Wayward Teenage Rockstars
