Summary
Xiang Fei can’t believe he was stupid enough to keep the chapter draft open. He especially can't believe he was that reckless in front of one the few people who, apparently, knows about Proud Immortal Demon Way. Not to mention that Shen Yuan is crazy hot. Xiang Fei can see his obituary now: local man, age twenty, died from sheer fucking embarrassment after a hot guy read his porn.
"Xiang Fei, this is..." Shen Yuan's lips purse, and Xiang Fei feels his soul leave his body. "...really fucking good."
What.
"I was kinda worried at first,” Shen Yuan admits. "Most people who write this sort of thing are basement-dwelling incels or those sisters from the forums who—“ his cheeks flush steadily pinker, and it stunlocks Xiang Fei so completely that it takes everything else a second to register.
Wait. Fanfiction?
During a group project gone wrong (right?), Shen Yuan and Xiang Fei stumble into a situation where they're being graded on PIDW fanfiction. Between fandom discourse, overpriced coffee, terribly-organized conventions, they stumble their way into what might just be the closest friendship either of them have ever had. Go figure.

Summary
Rotten fruit smells sweet before it reeks. In a hazy memory, Yue Qingyuan can half-see a child scrambling for a pomegranate gone warped and soft. He remembers the glimmer of glee in their feverish eyes. The crimson that dripped like blood from their lips. The way their body shook through the night as they hacked up blood and bile before they finally went still.
Yue Qingyuan reckons with desire.

Summary
Mydei hadn’t noticed earlier, but Phainon is bleeding sluggishly from a cut on his bicep. Because of him.
“I’m… sorry," he sighs. “Your help was unnecessary—“ Phainon opens his mouth to retort, but Mydei cuts him off. “But I appreciate it.”
All at once, Phainon seems to deflate—his indignation little more than ice melting beneath Mydei’s gaze. Blue eyes dart to the rubble that was once a doorway as he sighs, low and heavy.
“There has to be a second staircase,” he says weakly. “Right?”
Or: Hours before a festival to Mnestia, Phainon and Mydei find themselves trapped in a temple during the dead of winter.

Summary
“I could hear prayers,” Mydei says abruptly. "I assumed you didn’t know; I doubt it’s something I ever would have had the chance to tell you. But it started immediately after I acquired Nikador’s Coreflame.” He stares out at the square—the marble of rebuilt statues winking where the city once stood in embers.
“Prayers,” Phainon echoes weakly. “So you—“
“I heard every prayer,” Mydei continues, his gaze flitting to the ruins of the Dawn Device. “Including the ones from you. I know you didn’t know.” His lips quirk up. “You never would have been so honest otherwise.”
Three months after the battle with Irontomb, Mydei and Phainon begin to navigate the ways that they have changed in the aftermath of the eternal recurrences—and what that means for their relationship.

Summary
Phainon chuckles. “As acerbic as ever, Mydei,” he says, jabbing him with his elbow. “Anyway! I was just saying—it’s a pleasure to stand before the esteemed new Lance of Fury,” he winks. “What is it they're calling you now? The 'Roaring Lion of Castrum Kremnos?' The 'Kremnoan Dawnbringer'?" Then, more consideringly: "I don't really blame them, though. You were amazing earlier. You really came in the nick of time."
Mydei rolls his eyes, even as his faithless heart can’t help but flutter. “Call me any of that shit again and I’ll grind you into dust, haikas. You know well I have no use for such inane titles and feckless flattery.”
“Don’t like it?” Phainon pouts. “Fine. Congratulations rescinded. Though it wouldn’t kill you to accept some praise for once, Mydei.”
“It’s called humility, Deliverer. Perhaps you would benefit from practicing it,” Mydei shoots back.
Phainon laughs at that—a proper laugh, not one of those fake little things he supplies to the throngs of Okhemans who worship him like a Titan come to life.

Or: After Mydei takes up Nikador’s mantle, a pining Phainon wants to have one last “conversation” before Mydei returns to Castrum Kremnos.

Summary
“I’m Shen Yuan,” he said, because it felt rude not to offer something in return. He tipped his head toward the back table. “And that’s Shen Tang.”
“Charmed,” Shen Jiu drawled.
He did not sound so. He sounded like he had found a new category of nuisance and was deciding whether to file Shen Yuan under it permanently.
“Are you always this welcoming to new customers?”
“Only the ones I suspect of being stalking, controlling weirdos.”
“Good to know I’m special.”
Shen Jiu’s mouth twitched.

Shen Yuan’s romcom adventure begins with sibling blackmail, tea he did not ask for, and crochet he definitely did not agree to. It might have stayed that way, too, if not for a certain prickly, unfairly cute teahouse owner who kept giving him reasons to come back.

Summary
Shen Yuan knew eventually he’d get a chance for some real deep sea exploration, but he hadn’t accounted for how strange life would be once he stepped on board. It would have been nice to know ahead of time about the flickering lights, disorientation, and strange radio calls in the middle of the night shift, but for some reason that hadn’t been included in the orientation.
Desperate for a connection back on shore, Shen Yuan responds to one of these calls and strikes up a friendship with a new intern, Luo Binghe, who seems increasingly interested in Shen Yuan himself, rather than his research.- Language:

Summary
Mydeimos’s smile is sharp as he shrugs. “What’s your name again?”
“Phainon of—” Phainon cuts himself off, looking away. It doesn’t matter where he’s from. Not anymore. “Phainon.”
“Phainon of Nowhere,” Mydeimos says, and those words disembowel Phainon, cutting into his belly and slicing clean across it. “Come to bed with me. We have a show to put on.”
In the midst of an ongoing war between Okhema and Castrum Kremnos, Mydei's mother gifts him Phainon, an Okheman bed slave he neither wants nor needs. But there is more at stake for both Mydei and Phainon: between Gorgo's ploys, Eurypon's plans, and the advancing black tide, they are pulled between a growing desire for each other and the very fate of their world.

Summary
Dear Mr. Yang,
I hope this note finds you and the rest of the Astral Express crew doing well. It has only been a few days since the Express departed, but you all have been on my mind. Your help in Penacony has left quite the impression, I must say. There are threads of the Trailblaze woven into every corner of the sweet dream, and yet it coexists in peace with the Harmony. It is a wonderful feeling. I know I am not the only one to think so.
With gratitude,
RobinP.S. Rumor has it that you are now the caretaker of a lost Charmony dove. They are special birds, but fragile, and require delicate care. Should you ever be wanting, I will be happy to provide tips on their care.
What starts as an exchange of letters regarding Sunday slowly evolves from friendship to family as Robin and Welt discuss art, fame, and practicing love in the face of trauma.
