“Right,” Johnny swallowed. “So, uh–Did Stark say anything about room arrangements?” He asked. Peter was puzzled for a moment, well, tried to seem puzzled, like he wasn’t thinking about sharing a room with Johnny all week.
“Oh. He called a few days ago. Somehow someone had overthrown my room,” Peter huffed a laugh, again trying to ease the tension. “He said something about sharing with you.”
“Ok, good to know we both know that,” Johnny spoke swiftly, calculated, and calm. Peter knew it was forced, he had that sort of strain in his voice when he didn’t want to say something. “I just wanted to ask if you want to switch with someone.”

Stony wedding, and Johnny Storm and Peter Parker are forced to stay in the same hotel room.

Peter Parker was never usually the jealous type.
He understood that Felicia had a girlfriend that she was devoting herself to now. He understood that Mary Jane had a job she wanted to commit to. He even understood that Johnny Storm was a playboy and that he had a different man or woman draped over his arm every other week.
So why, now, as Peter watches another woman cling to Johnny’s arm and laugh too loudly at his jokes, did a bitter, twisted, feeling sink into his chest?
