Summary
Akaashi is painted across Bokuto's skin, in purples and blues and all shades in between. Akaashi loves these marks he leaves. He loves touching Bokuto and seeing the midnight bloom across his skin and thinking to himself that Bokuto is his. He loves looking at his own paint-stained fingers and knowing this was right. That this is where he belonged.

“I’m not mad,” Akaashi says. Bokuto feels more fingers stroking his hair. He imagines they are Akaashi’s. They probably are; they are tender, hesitant, nothing like Kuroo’s. “A part of me knew it would end up like this.”
“Good, then,” Kuroo says. Bokuto hears him take a sip of his coffee. The fingers in his hair intertwine. “You did always prefer him over me for some reason.”
“What a cruel thing to say after all those frowns we shared behind his back, Kuroo-san.”Or, how after high school Bokuto and Akaashi fell out. Their meeting 3 years later may or may not have been orchestrated by Kuroo.

The black and white streaks of this mysterious morning jogger’s hair are sticking up like one of his art brushes, and Akaashi feels faint horror when he wonders how much earlier the man must’ve been awake if he’s had time to style that mess before he left.
Akaashi hopes the glare he levels in the man’s direction is enough to convey everything he feels about the situation—namely, how dare you look so cheerful for being up and jogging at this ungodly hour of the morning while I sit here and suffer?

What greeted him was an utterly gorgeous profile picture, and a promotion video featuring that utterly gorgeous man on its center. Bokuto’s eyes were drawn to the heavy dark curls that framed Akaashi Keiji’s sharply angled face. If Bokuto was a poet, he would have stated that Akaashi’s eyes were eloquent and ardent, and yet languid in the way that it bored into the very depths of his being. He would have stated that Akaashi’s half smile was enchanting and provocative, revealing the illustrious promises of enchantment and carrying the air of a sylph. He would have stated that in one glance, in one minute of staring at this person, Akaashi Keiji’s entire self is diffused with a mysterious charm that screamed of temptation.
Unfortunately, Bokuto wasn’t a poet, so all he thought was Fuck, he's hot.

Bokuto Koutarou just wanted something to spice up his superhero life, like a monster or any other enemy. He definitely didn't ask to sympathize and fall in love with the coolest, most beautiful villain ever.
Akaashi Keiji just wanted to complete his father's project, villainous ways or not. He definitely didn't ask for a ridiculously attractive and dorky superhero to crash his plans and make him fall for him.

Akaashi likes to consider himself a composed, rational human being. He can keep his hands and eyes to himself. He can control his hormonal, teenage impulses just fine. He even manages to keep the PDA to a minimum, even though his very attractive and very cuddly boyfriend makes it difficult. Akaashi makes a point to keep focused during practices and games.
