Both Hizashi and Aizawa look shocked when Izuku speaks, maybe by how young he sounds, or just that their theory about the quirk was proven right.Izuku is starving, orphaned, and alone with a quirk he keeps on all of the time to protect himself. Used to scaring people, he manages to find two heroes who don’t run away. With a new home and a new family, Izuku must now learn how to integrate into a society with a quirk that utterly terrifies others.

Summary
Shouta Aizawa never had any intentions of becoming a parent. He had enough exposure to his students and their idiotic plans to know that children were not something he needed more of in his life. Kids were strange little creatures that did things for no reason, and demanded everything they could ever want, and had no care for how the world was supposed to work.
Aizawa was not ready to be a parent. But Eri was here, and she needed him. So he would swallow his pride, put away his dignity, and ask his students to help him learn how to style her hair the way she wanted.
OR the story in which Aizawa gets a few haircare lessons, a few more parenting lessons, and finds that it’s all worth it when it comes to Eri.

Bones obviously heard him, despite his efforts to keep him from doing so. Eyes narrowing dangerously, he took two brisk steps forward and hissed, “What?”
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________After the Narada is defeated, as the Enterprise limps home on limited power with an inexperience crew, Jim does his best to keep everything afloat while dealing with the after affects of the mind meld with Spock Prime. Plagued with thoughts, memories, and emotions he can't place or contain, Jim needs help whether he wants it or not. And of course the one person capable of helping him is his grieving half-Vulcan first officer who tried to beat him to death on the bridge. Not that he hadn't deserved it, but still. Risk versus benefit.
