He stepped forwards before he fully turned around, finding himself face to face with a stranger before he even realized what was happening. The stranger stepped around him without missing a beat, stalking down the rest of the hall.
Megumi couldn’t help but stare for a moment, eyes catching short pink hair. Strange in its own right, sure, but glancing down the hall Megumi spotted another one. A boy, probably around his age, with the same pink hair — only wilder. The younger of the two caught Megumi staring, locking eyes with him for just a moment, before his face cracked into a wide grin. Megumi pulled his eyes away, his cheeks heating up.
“You totally almost ran right into that guy,” Tsumiki teased. “And then you basically got caught staring at the other like a freak. That was hilarious.”
“Shut it,” Megumi grumbled, whipping back and pushing past his sister. He could feel the pink haired boy’s gaze burning into his back – or maybe that was just his imagination.
