With Vecna gone, the gang moves on. Except Nancy. It feels like she’s still stuck back where she was years ago, plagued with guilt so suffocating it threatens to pull her under. But there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Steve Harrington, the boy she let go all those years ago. But all her feelings are gone. At least that's what she tells herself. A lot of things change, some things don't. Vecna is gone, Hawkins is destroyed. People have died. But at least it's over now, right?
Trying to create a new "normal" comes with undeniable realizations of what has truly never changed through it all.
Or, season 5 at least the finale- can take a hike. This is a Stancy fic, fight me on it. If you love Jancy at least take small comfort that I don't make Jonathan a total piece of shit.
