The ballroom is hot, condensation rolling down the windows that face out into the ice-covered gardens. Rui traces a finger through it, leaning her head just enough to catch a glimpse of the moon low in the sky, her other hand idly fidgeting with the glass of champagne she’d carefully placed on the sill a moment before. It seems so peaceful out there, winter roses covered in thick frost that sparkles in the faint light from the palace. So unlike the warm room she’s in, filled with music and laughter and more people than she could possibly hope to name or converse with.

Summary
Hanbin's roommate, Gyuvin, is in love with his best friend Ricky. Ricky's roommate, Hao, agrees that the mutual pining is getting way too much and that they should do something about it. What better way to do that than making them go on romantic double dates to set them up together ?
And if it means Hanbin has to go on fake dates with the most beautiful guy on campus, it's a sacrifice he is willing to make.

His eyes darted up from Hao's lips to his eyes, and like every time he felt flustered, Hanbin started heating up, his cheeks certainly already flushed. Did he stare too hard ? Some gentleman he was. Glaring at a guy’s pretty, pouty lips when they barely met. Maybe Gyuvin was right. Maybe this was maidenless behavior.

“Ow!” A voice pipes up from under the lily pad. Gunwook narrows his eyes in suspicion, and he keeps chucking wood chips at the seemingly sentient floating leaf. “Fuck! Shit! Ow—can you please stop doing that?”
The lily pad slips off the hidden offender, and Gunwook sees the briefest flick of a large tail disappear beneath the water. His jaw drops.
“You’re—” A mermaid, is what Gunwook means to say, but what comes out instead is “—very vulgar.”
Gunwook gets lost at sea in the midst of doing his research. Matthew helps him find his way home.

Jeonghan can read every twitch of Seungcheol’s lips, every shift of his jaw. He’s an expert at it.
“No, Seungcheol,” he tries again. “I want to have a baby of my own. And I think you should be the one to— y’know,” Jeonghan vaguely gestures to his stomach. “Knock me up.”
