Emery Walsh returns from vacation to find that PTMC's emergency department has a brand new attending physician: charismatic, cooperative, and with a voice sweet like honey that Emery can't seem to get out of her mind, no matter how much she despises sweet things. She finds herself drifting towards the ED before and after her shift, if just to catch a short conversation with the new attending.
Baran Al-Hashimi is trying to carve her place in the emergency department as a reliable and caring attending, which means cooperation with all of the staff. Though everyone warns her that the complex attending surgeon is a bit angry and tough to handle, Baran can't help but look forward to seeing her for the few minutes she can every day. Shoko paused, a flash of warmth shot through her. "Yeah, with who?"

“Yes you, hyung,” Sunoo had sighed, not actually seeming that irritated, a glint of something knowing in his eye that Sunghoon didn’t like one bit. “Don’t take it personally. Maybe you’re next.”
Sunghoon did take it personally. And he also took the second half of Sunoo’s sentiment as a threat.
