Summary
Now, Scott claps his hands together, remembering why Peter had burst through his door. “Girl advice,” he says. And then he’s grinning, wiping the sweat from his forehead. “That’s right. 'Course you'd come to me for that. Because you know I must have done something right to...you know...” He nods at a picture frame sat on a shelf near Peter, of Scott and Hope together, and then keeps nodding, looking proud of himself. “I don’t know what I did exactly, but it must’ve been right.”
Or, Peter is, like, really in love with MJ, and goes to Scott for advice.

Summary
As a fugitive in Wakanda, Scott makes a place for himself as moral support, doing everything possible to keep the fact that he’s pretty much dead inside from the others. See, he’s been living with his mental issues for years, and he’s been pretending to be just fine for even longer, so if he lets himself get lost in everyone else’s commotion, he’ll be okay.
…Except no one can pretend to be okay forever, and Scott is rudely thrust into the spotlight by virtue of having a full-on mental breakdown and trying to kill himself while living in close quarters with five other people. It doesn’t work, so Scott decides to save his own life and face his past, present, and future head-on. Also, somewhere in all of this, Scott and Sam fall in love, because wars end, but life goes on.

In which Scott Lang spills his guts to Sam Wilson at who cares o' clock in the morning, and it all goes uphill from there.
Feat. Wakandan infomercials, brooding worthy of any A-list superhero, an uncomfortably sincere compliment, and a requited crush.

Summary
Ignorance is defined as a “lack of knowledge or information”. Willful ignorance is the “practice of ignoring any sensory input that appears to contradict one’s inner model of reality”. One is understandable and possibly excusable, one definitely isn’t.
5 (plus 1 bonus) times members of Team Cap were willfully ignorant and 1 time a member of Team Cap was (unintentionally) ignorant.

*SPOILERS FOR ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA*
———
Scott fell weakly back against Hope’s side as his adrenaline seemed to be zapped away in an instant. His head was swimming as his muscles and chest ached with an unfamiliar pain he’d never felt before.
“Scott-“
“The air is feeling… really chunky again, Hope… M’ actually gonna take… a quick, lil… nap… just five minutes-“
Scott promptly passed out.

“Dude,” Scott said, waiting until Clint turned his head to acknowledge him, “I thought we were the only ones with kids?”
Clint looked at him strangely, swallowing the last of his milk and lowering the bowl.
“We are,” Clint said before grabbing his things and getting up from the table.
“But he just called Stark…” Scott trailed off pointing in Peter’s direction when he realized no one was listening to him.

Scott sighed and thumped his head against the wall. One of the guards, who looked like he had two feet and a hundred pounds of muscle on Scott, made a motion to grab at his stun baton. As though there wasn't a five inch thick plastic-carbon fiber-whatever cell wall separating them. Scott mouthed "sorry", and stepped back a couple inches. Damn these guys were twitchy.
Scott spends some time in prison, again, giving him more time than he needs to reflect on his life choices. But it turns out Cap won't leave any man behind if he can help it. Scott Lang excels at getting himself into trouble. After the fight at the airport, Ant-Man's avenging debut, he finds himself locked away under the sea on the Raft, facing far darker threats from the desperate and bitter Ross.
Meanwhile, Tony Stark goes rogue and reunites with Steve Rogers. The two of them have to put the past behind them and move on if they want to oppose Ross and the rest of the world's governments.
But will they already be too late?
