Kakashi's face was uncovered and there was blood on his shockingly revealed lips, she noted blearily, staring at his handsome jaw, his elegant albeit somewhat crooked nose, his strong chin. When she managed to drag her gaze up, his eyes—which were usually a pretty grey—were black, his pupils blown out so that only the barest hint of his irises were visible, like staring into an eclipse. He was still throbbing and twitching inside her, still grinding his come deeper into her body, and when his nearly awed gaze drifted down towards the pain throbbing at the juncture of her shoulder, Naruto remembered why there was blood on his lips.

Here we explore what Asami Senju — a character I’ve written in another story — might look like in a different universe, this time growing up surrounded by her family. For Asami, life is steady until clan politics catch up with her. When her brother’s choices and the Senju’s old rivalry with the Uchiha draw her into their conflicts, she finds herself caught in consequences she never chose. And as encounters with the Uchiha grow more dangerous, she discovers that threats don’t always come with raised weapons. Sometimes, they arrive with flowers in hand and a smile too sharp to be trusted.

“Well, if it isn’t Konoha’s two favorite Uchiha.” Her tone is dry, clipped with the roughness of her drink, but the curiosity is sincere. "To what do I owe the honor?"
“Can’t a man just have a drink?” Shisui asks. He slips onto the seat beside her, one hand raised to catch the bartender’s attention, while Itachi’s glare forces a man out of her right-side seat.
Sakura hides her huff of mirth behind her drink, rolling her eyes as the bartender pours sake for the two men. “Oh you can,” She assures, clinking her glass with his. “But you two aren’t exactly known to drink.”
Itachi’s chest brushes against her shoulder and his breath fans against her neck. “It’s been a long day.” He offers his glass to her own, his eyes smoldering with the kindling of a controlled fire and dancing between shadow and flame.
A scarred finger drags upwards against her knee. “And we’re expecting an even longer night.”
