touya never thought he’d see the day — rehabilitated after the war and tucked into the backseat of a car between keigo and shouto while fuyumi and natsuo talk up front, all on their way to the family cabin that he hasn’t seen since childhood. while it might feel strange, he’s happy to spend the time with his mother and siblings again, along with keigo as an added bonus. he thinks this just might be a his happiest holiday. -- for the dabihawks 2024 gift exchange!

Katsuki, naturally, is forced to come along and abandon his Pro-Hero work. This time, however, Eijirou is in tow for every holiday activity. Katsuki isn't sure if he's excited or should be scared.

“You want me to get married?” Touya asks, tone as even as he can manage.
“Yes. You will be getting married. In the next few months, in fact.”

Summary
Izuku fumbled with his satchel in an attempt to quickly pull out his phone to call Shouto or to see if he’d missed any calls during his walk. He was so concentrated on finding just what pocket he had stashed it in, the sounds of the city droning around him, the newscaster still going on and on about how they were so lucky that Spiderman came to save the day again, that he doesn’t even notice someone barreling towards him, the shouts around him that Spiderman is here! It isn’t until his feet have left the ground and his stomach has been left on the city streets below that he feels the swoop inside his chest, the sharp feel of alarm and relief warring as he sets his eyes on the mask inches from his face.

“I– oh. You.. were looking for me?” Shouto stares at the nervous laugh, the man’s cheeks a dusty rose. “I don’t hear that one often. I’m assuming you need help with something really specific, then?”
Shouto nods, lips pressed thinly together. He knows he has to share his story to receive help, but that doesn’t prevent him from being any less reluctant. He knows he’s dreadfully slow to warm, knows he’s a difficult person to be around, know he isn’t the most talkative or personable. They’re just a series of fatal flaws that keep people away. And while that may sometimes be intentional, there are other times where he thinks he would welcome the intrusion in his life.
“I need assistance with breaking a curse.”

He can still feel Kirishima’s gaze on him when he finishes eating, so he shoots him a sideways glare and says, “Stop being fucking coy.”
“Huh?” Kirishima asks, blinking and looking away like that’d convince Bakugou he hadn’t just been staring.
“Man up,” Bakugou hisses at him. “If there’s something you want, then fucking say it.”
Kirishima goes quiet, again, and Bakugou can practically hear the gears turning in his head. If he keeps this up, he’s going to burn out whatever brain he still has. Just as Bakugou’s about to scoff and tell him so, Kirishima leans in so that their faces are too close together.
“What,” Bakugou says, every one of his muscles locking up as he fights conflicting urges to lean closer and edge away from Kirishima’s proximity.
“You stopped me, last time,” Kirishima tells him, lips curled into a pout. “Are you going to let me say it, now?”
Kirishima has always made things easy for Bakugou. But that doesn't mean that Bakugou's gotten any better at these things, even after all of these years.
