Summary
After winning a cup in 2011 and eventually regressing back into a rebuild, the Vancouver Canucks select Simon Snow first overall in the 2020 NHL draft. Second overall pick Tyrannus ‘Baz’ Basilton Grimm-Pitch is made out to be Simon’s biggest rival, especially when he’s picked by the Boston Bruins. But things aren’t going smoothly for either of them- Baz is on personal leave from his team and staying in his hometown of Vancouver for now, while Simon is crumbling under the pressure to lead the team right back into cup contention. A chance meeting at a bar one day results in an unlikely friendship and plants the seeds for something more.
