She refused to flinch under his stare as it assaulted her once again. His smile was manufactured, looking like skin stretched across his face. It looked painful. “Might as well. It’s not like we have anything better to do.”
They hadn’t talked about it. To anyone. No one knew what had happened. One night, Ochako and Katsuki were inseparable, head over heels for each other. The next day, he was on Kirishima’s couch and she was unreachable for days. Neither would speak a word to their friends. It wasn’t their business to know why they failed.

Neither one of them were planning on getting stuck as hospital roommates after a catastrophic accident, especially five months after the worst break up of their lives. So now they're stuck together in the dark with only their thoughts and unresolved feelings to stew over. Closure is inevitable, but it's gonna hurt like hell to get it.
