“All the way? What are you, a girl?” huffed Kaiser. “Anyway, did Noel tell you about the Japanese training camp?”
“Huh? Yeah. He asked me if I wanted to go, but I didn’t want to leave your side.”
“Well, I’m going so you better come.”
“O-oh. Yeah, I’ll go, then. He didn’t mention you were gonna go. I mean, Japanese football has never been that strong.”
“Something is going on over there, and I want to know what it is. Noel showed me clips and there’s this guy… Yoichi something or other. Three months ago, he was losing his high school games, and now he’s outperforming their entire U-20 team. This guy is a fucking lunatic. I want to know how he did it, and then I want to chew him up and spit him out.”
