The day Dream materializes in Techno’s office and asks for a job is the day George’s chronic loneliness starts the long process of evolving from apathy to adoration and everything in between. An assassin’s blade is lodged under his ribs and in his heart, and the bastard who put it there is also the one who’s keen on twisting the knife. George and Dream dance around one another as they’re both pitted against their hearts— George’s, who's hung up on a crazy killer, and Dream’s, who's stuck in the past and too slowly warming up to the idea of new friends and found family. George wants to kiss Dream about as much as he wants to ram a bullet through his chest, and Dream wants George out of his way so badly he’ll risk the both of them— ‘cause who cares if they both go up in flames?
“‘Come on, pretty boy. Let me show you a good time.’ George can’t stop the rush of heat the words bring any more than he can stop the way his heart pounds. Not with fear, however. George and his group of vigilante hackers, the Dream Team, work to bring down corrupt businesses.
When George encounters a skillful coder working for their target company, he goes on a field mission to convince them to switch sides and join George's team.
George and the new addition to the team, Clay, quickly fall for each other as they work together.
AKA: a hacker/spy AU featuring the Dream Team and inspired by the videogame WatchDogs Legion.
The harsh green light bombarded his brown eyes, stinging his retinas with the vibrancy of its brightness.
Characters of code loaded on his screen, line by line. At the end of the last line lay the cursor, blinking, waiting.
His eyes scanned the information in front of him, analyzing each slash and bracket.
His eyebrows knit, deep in thought, thinking of the best counterattack.
His breathing was getting cumbersome, shallowing with frustration.
The sound of his breaths bounced off the walls of the dark bunker, tinged in an eerie blue glow.

Summary
Soft clinking of silverware, and plates served as background noise. They sat in an equally comfortable, and uncomfortable silence. George's heart was abnormally racing, it’s too quiet. He huffed a loud, annoyed sigh, and set down his fork. His eyes flicking between both his parents, expecting one of them to speak up.
“Out with it then.” He demanded.
His parents turned to look at each other, sharing a look George couldn't decipher.
“Well… sweety-” His mother began.
“-You’re getting married.” His father shot out, face stone cold.
What. The. Fuck.

George is the son of the Italian mafia boss. In an attempt to gain more power, he is put into an arranged marriage with Dream. Dream is the boss of the Russian mob. George moves to New York and discovers the Russian mob has a lot more enemies than they're letting on. Can they peacefully unify their forces, or will they die trying?
