Summary
When Zooble exposes that Jax is a virgin, he promptly storms off as everyone else decides to spend the day at the lake. All except Gangle, who suddenly finds herself offering to teach the rabbit the basics of sex and women's anatomy so that he can please a future partner. When the lesson takes an explicit turn, however, the pair find themselves much closer than either could have anticipated.

It’s one of those nights again. Neither of them says anything, it’s as practiced of a motion as Ragatha swilling down the last of her cherry, red wine at dinner, and the dreams that follow as a corollary. In her dreams, she leaves the circus. In her dreams, she doesn’t slur her words or feel guilty about who she’s left behind. In her dreams, Ragatha gets what she wants. She runs and runs and runs out into the night, as free as her horses, running until the ground disappears beneath her feet and it's the circus that’s in front of her, opening its gaping jaws to swallow her whole. It’s the one social dogma Caine established at this place: Ragatha is eaten but never eats. Before she would wake up shivering and cold; angry.
Now, she wakes to Pomni.

However, she couldn’t have anticipated Pomni’s knock on her door, nor the subsequent impromptu make-out session. It had been so surprising, in fact, that for a moment Ragatha had figured it was all a dream.

Today’s activity was a scavenger hunt. Nothing new; Caine had pulled out the same adventure with different items for them to look for a couple of times before. Pomni had played this game before, and despite Caine’s insistence that he re-explain the rules every time, it would prove to be a pretty simple task. Today had been shaping up to be fairly easy by Circus standards. That was, until Caine had told her specifically to come find him after their morning de-briefing. He had explained that he had a “special adventure” for her, but didn’t elaborate beyond that. It made the jester uneasy; who knew what the Hell he had planned for her.
