Summary
It's been 2 months since the last extermination. Alastors' presence in the hotel remained the same, carrying on as though he had chosen to leave the fight at the very moment he had. Being as unpredictably predictable, no one seemed to bat an eye at his simple explanation of why he left when he did. "Well I simply couldn't let the star of the show, dearest Charlie, miss her chance to truly shine now could I?" His condescending tone wasn't shocking, neither was the accompanied laugh track seeming to echo from his shadow rather than the mic he normally carried. Lucifer was really the only one to question it, though Alastor couldn't even be bothered to remember how that conversation had gone.

He’s long since abandoned his drink, the half full glass standing harrowingly next to Alastor’s significantly less empty one. Normally they’d be on their second glass by now, fighting to see who can handle the contents better, hurling insults that slowly lose their bite somewhere along the way. Today is different.
