    Summary

When Izuku looks in the mirror, he imagines a blackhole underneath his skin, absorbing every failure, every poison, manifesting in scars and adipose tissue.

When he looks in the mirror, he thinks, this is why Kacchan doesn’t love me back.

Izuku makes himself throw up. Kacchan notices.

Izuku reached the top of the stairwell and faced the green metal door labeled ROOF EXIT, giddy. He pushed it open quietly, sticking his head out to see if—

    His heart skipped a beat.

    Summary

Izuku has been talking to Stranger for about six months now and he’s only been crushing on him for like half of that.

    Or

Deku and Bakugou met anonymously in a discord about Quirk Theory, became somewhat friends, and now they talk almost 24/7 without having a clue that they’re literally living under the same roof.

    Summary

“That’s heavy, Deku,” Katsuki finally drawls out, and it resounds a little bit like a teasing remark, especially with how rarely the blond uses his nickname these days. “Letting out my feelings for you as much as I want won’t make your days normal like before. Do you get that?”

“I don’t care,” Izuku says, straightening himself a bit more. “I don’t mind. Let it all out.”

“You hearing yourself?” A slim, blond eyebrow is slowly being lifted. “You don’t even like me, dumbass.”

Or, Bakugo Katsuki confesses his love for Midoriya Izuku the same way he does everything: bluntly. It starts the strangest Game of Gay Chicken in existence. Class 3-A is exasperated.
