“Well, what do you wanna do?” Kouhei turned to face Toshinori with an almost devilish smile.
A bead of sweat trickled down Toshinori’s temple. His face flushed slightly. Thankfully, the other boy’s shadow helped hide it.
“Huh?” Toshinori ran his hand through his long, straight, dark hair before shifting his baseball cap.
“Are we going to spend such precious time doing nothing? What do you want to do before break ends?”
It’s not nothing if I’m doing it with you. But the words never left Toshinori’s mouth. Kuchi wa wazawai no moto. Some things are better left unsaid.
Next thing he knew, Kouhei’s face was hovering inches above his own. Toshinori’s flush turned deep red. Kouhei had straddled him and even though he was shorter and had a slighter frame, he had managed to pin him down. Toshinori’s eyes moved down to evade Kouhei’s piercing, expectant stare, his wide grin only to land on an even worse sight. Kouhei’s parted legs had met his torso there.

The clouds that gather above her are covering a bit too much of the sky for the weather to be considered sunny.
And Gowon’s hair is golden.

Their personalities were slightly different compared to modern ninjago (Cole was a bit more distant and introverted, Kai was a bit more serious and grumpy. Summary
Xiao never cared about The Lantern Rite. It was just a time when humans threw their garbage into the sea under the guise of honor and tradition. The cleanup was never perfect, and sometimes he still found old lanterns stuck in a tree weeks later.
The only saving grace being that the lanterns would eventually return to the earth anyway. He never saw a reason to actually go, never cared much for seeing the likeness of a friend he couldn't save.
Until one day he sees those ridiculous lights reflected back at him in pools of warm evening sunlight. And he thinks he might finally understand why mortals have fallen so deeply in love with the wondrous glow of stars made by their own two hands.
"Alright, Xiao. Make sure you have your wish!"
He can't help but wonder if there really is anyone dead or alive, demented or divine that would truly seek to grant him a wish…
"We'll release it on the count of three!"
But, a sound sweeter than wind chimes graces his ears, and he realizes then, that he might have already been granted his wish…
"Okay…"
