Summary
"You've got chocolate on your face," Mingi said as he tapped at his own cheek. And when Yunho's naturally longer tongue swept out of his mouth to collect the sweet remnants, the human gasped. "Woah-- your tongue is-- that's so cool! Are you like a sun bear shifter or something? They have super long tongues, right?"
The wendigo stared blankly down at the innocently curious human, the blatant lie slipping from his lips before he could even really register what he was saying. "Yes. I'm a sun bear shifter."

Summary
Nicholas leans against the concrete wall by the station. He has to look up to meet Euijoo’s eyes, just a tiny lift of his chin. Euijoo keeps seeing the vague outlines of what Nicholas is thinking seconds before he even thinks it. In this industry—in this awful, vapid industry—it’s a virtue. Euijoo hasn’t spoken to someone this open, who makes him want to open up like this in years.
“I guess I just keep wondering,” Nicholas says, shy and unflinching in equal measure, looking right at him. “Does anybody really know you?”
Byun Euijoo is an actor with walls a mile high. Enter Wang Yixiang, his new stylist.

Summary
There is a particularly memorable Saturday when Euijoo walks into the room and sees Nicholas texting on his phone and wearing a plaid skirt, his legs bare underneath.
“Um,” Euijoo says, trying not to swallow his tongue. “Are you going out?”
“Oh,” Nicholas says. He runs a hand through his hair. “No. I’m just really behind on laundry, actually.”
Oh, so Nicholas is wearing that to do laundry. That’s… cool. Euijoo doesn’t have an opinion on this at all, mostly because his brain is lagging like it’s on one bar of wifi. He wants to say that Nicholas looks nice, but instead just gives him a thumbs up. Euijoo quietly gets his laptop out of his backpack and considers dropping out of school.
[In freshman year of university, Euijoo and Nicholas are assigned to be roommates.]

Summary
Mingi could only watch as his target once again evaded his scheduled death, the human slipping on the wet bathroom tile like Mingi had written, but somehow managing to right himself afterwards, instead of falling to his demise in the shower.
And the bastard had the nerve to say out loud, “Phew, that was a close one!” before casually walking out of the bathroom to continue going about his day unbothered, whistling as he towel dried his hair. Infuriating.
Snapping the notebook in his hands shut, Mingi phased through the walls, floating above his target with his arms crossed as the human got dressed and made himself a cup of coffee, Yunho upgrading from whistling to humming beneath Mingi’s invisible glare.
By all accounts, Jeong Yunho was a perfectly ordinary soul, his near black aura signifying that he was at the end of his life cycle and therefore in need of reaping. So why wouldn’t he die?

Summary
San shrugs, searching for the movie. “I told you, he has good taste. That’s it.”
“He’s someone who hacked your account!” Mingi retorts. “Also, uh-uh, you’re out here changing your profile name to shit like 'gonna try out pulp fiction this time!!!', exclamation point times three, as if you’re texting some middle school crush. This is a whole different kind of catfishing.”
“Sannie’s a big boy," Yunho teases, "He can talk to strangers if he wants.”
Someone hacks San's Netflix account. He lets them get away with it.
